STEP 2 - Get Some Prospective Customers

Now that you have selected at least one business from those above, its time to move onto the next step in making money. Don't leave this step out or I can guarantee you that you will not make money. Let me put this step in very simple terms. You need visitors to your website to offer your business opportunity or product. Just like the hat shop we talked about earlier, if no one knows about your shop you will not sell and hats, right? Same as the Rolling Stones, if no one knew about them, they could not sell any cd's.

EVERY business on the planet needs to promote itself and get people in the door. Luckily there are some fantastic systems available for you to do this on the Internet with ease. All it takes is a little bit of effort to get things set up and moving and all of a sudden you will be amazed by the results you achieve.

So how do we get traffic to your website/business? As I said there are a lot of ways. I'm not going to bother going into the "free" ways as they are just way too much effort and work. I'm only going to focus on methods which require an investment. But hang on, before you get frustrated with me, I'm also going to show you how to at least minimize the investment and in some cases, turn it into a profit so its not costing you a cent. Now you have to agree thats exciting! Not many businesses on this dear old planet can get their promotion for free or maybe make a dollar from it.

There are two main methods of getting traffic. One is by paying for email advertising and the other is buying leads. Both work well, although there are plenty of scammers in both sections of this industry. The ones we recommend are good and by using them you will save a lot of money and effort in throwing money away with scammers. OK, the two methods, as I said are "leads and "Email Advertising". Advertising has one drawback, you have to keep buying it as you do not own the list. However it can be a great way to get your business kicked off very quickly, so don't simply dismiss it. Now leads can be a great investment as you own them and you can keep adding to them, increasing your list every week or month. You can also send them advertisements promoting your business whenever you want. So, leads are great cause you own them and you can promote to them over and over.

If you have a personal website or have selected to buy leads then you need a system to mail to your list. To do this you need whats commonly referred to as an AutoResponder. Once again there are hundreds to choose from. The ones we recommend do a great job PLUS have affiliate programs which can very quickly turn this into another income stream for you. You see, another thing rich people do that poor people don't is always ensure they have more than one stream of income. Most people rely on one income, usually a job. Rich people have mutliple incomes.

Once again lets look at our example of the Rolling Stones. They were recently on the cover of Fortune Magazine because they have earned well over 1 BILLION dollars and they did it from CD sales, royalty payments, merchandising and concert ticket sales. Thats just 4 income streams but illustrates my point. The article also went on to mention they have many investments in real estate, the stock market and also trade in currencies.

Speaking of investment, the best investment you will ever make is to invest in yourself. No one is going to work harder or smarter for you than yourself right? So how about feeding your brain with the information it needs to work as smart as it can.

I'll tell you this for free, if you don't know the rules, you can't win at any game, including the money making game. I'm always surprised at the number of people I have contact with who want to make money on the net and race off joining all sorts of programs and fail. Its because they don't even know the knowledge I've just told you on this site and they also never read a book. Everyone needs to read just 15 minutes a day and everyone can find that little amount of time to invest in themselves. So if you're serious about changing your life and becoming free and independently wealthy...its going to be much much easier if you know the rules of the game. This is where you learn how to create a membership site that brings in fully automated, recurring monthly income for you. It creates pop up windows for your web site. You will absolutely be amazed at what a difference having pop up windows makes. I use them to get opt in subscribers for my mailing lists and to promote special offers. You can make pop up windows without using this tool. Just go to google.com and type in "pop up window code" and you'll find tons of sites that teach you how. I'm just a little lazy wanted it all done for me :-) Mining Gold On The Internet This is a little e-book by an excellent "guerilla internet marketer" named Shawn Casey. Shawn makes abnoxious amounts of money using strange little techniques that you would never think of. His site has a great free course availabe too. Hosting You may need hosting for your new business. You can use free services. I'm often asked if this is recommended and frankly its not. It does not look professional and, you have to have other peoples advertisements on your site. If you can afford it, go for a paid hosting service. There's millions of them around.
